"Cosy, friendly and no-nonsense restaurant. Portions were large, as can be expected from a German restaurant. Waitress was very friendly and food was cheap. Come to this place if you want a quick and satisfying lunch/dinner."

"Wir sind nicht aus Freiburg und waren zum ersten Mal in der Waldstube. Sehr freundlich Empfangen vom Chef des Hauses. Wir bestellen zur Vorspeise, einen Flammkuchen, der nicht auf der Speisekarte stand aber im Internet hatten wir das gelesen. Der Flammkuchen war handgefertigt mit frischen Zutaten. Als Hauptgang hatten wir ein Putenschnitzel und ein Cordon bleu beides mit Bratensauce, Pommes Frites und Salat. Die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker und die Portionen waren ausreichend, der Chef war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und werden sicherlich wieder Sehr zu empfehlen."
